Community members are being encouraged to apply for the City of Mandurah’s Advisory Groups, with nominations now open to be part of these specialist groups.
Positions are available on the City’s Access and Inclusion Advisory Group, Mandurah Environmental Advisory Group, and Mandurah Youth Advisory Group, all of which provide valuable advice to Mandurah Council on a wide range of plans, projects and issues.
These groups meet to discuss local issues and provide insight based on their professional or lived experience, relevant to the group’s objectives. Community members who want to make a difference and help shape Mandurah’s future are encouraged to apply.
Nominations are also open for the City of Mandurah’s Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee, with members providing valuable insights and guidance to Council based on their professional experiences.
Independent members will work alongside the Mayor and Councillors to play a crucial role in chairing the meetings and providing oversight and professional expertise on financial reporting, internal control structures, risk management systems, legislative compliance, and audit functions.
Nominations for the City of Mandurah’s Advisory Groups are open until 29 September 2025. Nominations for the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee are open until 30 September 2025.
